Anna, Departing French Polynesia for Points West

ANNA, anchored at Moemoea Lagoon, Tahaa, awaits a
weather window for departure out of F. Polynesia, for points west.

ANNA HAS OFFICIALLY CLEARED OUT OF FRENCH POLYNESIA. In early September (tentatively, 7 September, weather permitting) she will head west, in the general direction of the Kingdom of Tonga, passing through the Cook Islands (Suwarrow), and possibly Samoa,  en route to Tonga. New Zealand's south island is a possible destination after Tonga. If we head there it will probably be sometime in November or December 2016. As always, the weather will drive our ultimate plan.

Locals hand-line fishing, off motu at Raiatea's SE pass.

You can track us after we depart: http://go2anna.blogspot.com/p/track-anna.html
